It turns out that Duds and I have to go through the civil marriage process after all. So, the date has been set. I'm gonna be legally married on 24th of April 2013! We're getting our great friends Aimz and Ash to be our witnesses. This feels so surreal because it's finally happening.
I mean we've been engaged to each other for 2 years plus now and we've really gone through quite much to get to this point. It's definitely been a challenging journey. We've had our share of outrageous arguments but despite all that, we managed to come out still together and stronger. We fight, we learn and most importantly we move on. I think that's what has kept us together all along. And of course, I truly believe God helped.
Seriously, I do believe it, I'm not kidding. Time and time again I'm reminded of how our relationship fell into place. It couldn't be a coincidence every single time, right? I don't know if y'all get me or not but it's like he was there for me and I was there for him in order to make every significant occasion or event happen. Am I making sense? Oh geez. Okay okay, so in whole what I'm trying to say is that I believe that God facilitated everything that happened for us. Both the good and the bad. The good is well of course happy moments and everything but the bad, oh-hohh...the bad made our relationship stronger and realise that yeah, we'd want to spend the rest of our lives together. Well at least that's what I think. Hahaaa~~
I'm happy. I'm happy that I decided to love Duds. He's not perfect but neither am I. Well, till the next post, here's to perfect imperfections! Cheers y'all!
