Just another manic Monday~

Actually nahh, it ain't that manic for me, haha. So yesterday, Duds and I went down to KL to jalan-jalan and cari makan. It was fun I must say! Well if you're staying in KL itself maybe it won't be as fun but seeing that Duds and myself really seldom head downtown(or uptown? I don't know..err) so it was a nice break from the Sunway-Subang scene ;D.

First we headed to Taman Maluri for the oh-so-sedap Tangkak Beef Noodle. Oh yesss, the thick hot beefy broth with the chili yang menggigit (that's a Cocos way of saying awesome chilli, hahaha) PLUS it was pouring outside made the effort to drive out of Petaling Jaya so to say, very very worth it.

After we stuffed our face silly with all that beef noodle, we dropped by at this kind of old school bakery (I love love love old bakeries) to buy   what I call the "dulu-dulu" sort of butter cream cake. These sort of cakes really remind me of my childhood, as much as how minimal I was allowed to eat them when growing up (due to the fact I was a fatty2 bom2) I absolutely have a penchant for em'.

Ain't it pretty?! I think it is :P

Afterwards, we headed to Sungei Wang which was surprisingly not as packed as usual, you know, kind of like how the train station is during peak hours? Yergh, my idea of total nightmare..ok, back to the story. Well when we got there, we saw this shop selling Iphone and BB covers, and I must say, they were very interesting..LOL..

And then after we saw this shop named "The Naughty Shop" heheh...what does that tell ya'...so yeah it was a shop selling sex toys, lubes, games, 'gadgets' etc2. It was so err..awkward. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't that the products they were selling were awkward, it actually was the sales assistant. He (yes twas a guy) was just sort of following Duds and I around the shop and nonchalantly/bluntly explained about each and every one product on the shelf that we passed by. Example: There was this product called Booty Beads, he just spat out with his Chinese accent, "Oh the booty beads, this one ah, is for the anal sex!" As tan as I am, I think I blushed.....heh..-__-"..there are more examples, but I'm not gonna spoil the fun for you guys the next time you visit "The Naughty Shop" haha!

Later, we went round and round the mall, looked at more stuff, bought some more food, then we headed back. On the way, we passed by Petaling street and we saw this billboard.

I thought it was pretty cool. Matter of fact, I think the Nando's marketing team have done a good job in promotions! They've set up cool billboards at highways, on buildings, etc. There's another one near Lot 10 that says "Di sini banyak Ayam.(Like super huge letters right, and at the bottom followed..) Ayam Peri-Peri. (So as not to confuse ayam=as in hookers, with ayam=their peri-peri chicken) Witty, right! Or maybe it's just me. O well~~ XD

So that was how my Sunday was spent....I am a happy person...hehehehe, ok till the next one, here's Polly signing off! BYE!!
